DESCRIPTION:Spring 2026 Clinical Conference and Maryland Dermatologic Society Meeting hosted by the Johns Hopkins Department of Dermatology on Wednesday\, May 6. Our events offer you the opportunity to connect with your colleagues and preserve the sense of professional camaraderie that can be lost during the fast-paced practice of medicine. Attend our evening membership dinner with your colleagues and Dr. Arturo Saavedra at Citron at 2605 Quarry Lake Drive\, Baltimore.\n\nOur special guest speaker is Arturo P. Saavedra\, MD\, PhD\, MBA who has served as Dean of the VCU School of Medicine and executive vice president for medical affairs for the VCU Health System from April 2023 until January 2026.  He currently serves as the Interim Executive Vice President and Provost for Virginia Commonwealth University. He specializes in the diagnosis and care of complex medical dermatology and is considered one of the national experts in the care\, management and immunopathology of Graft-versus-host disease. His lecture is entitled "Graft-vs-Host Disease: Mechanisms of Disease and Novel Treatment".
